This policy applies to all paid programmes offered by Deesha Tech Academy — Academy courses and pathways, SkillLabs, Compass engagements, and Sprint seats. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
Free sessions and events
Some SkillLabs and events are offered free of charge. There is nothing to refund, but if you book a free seat and cannot attend, please tell us so the seat can go to someone else.
If you cancel
- Seven days or more before your batch starts — full refund of the fee paid.
- Less than seven days before the batch starts, up to the end of the second session — full refund of the fee paid. The first two sessions are your window to decide whether the programme fits.
- After the second session — fees are no longer refundable. Instead, you may transfer once, free of charge, to a later batch of the same programme within six months of your original start date.
For two-day SkillLabs, the decision window is the first half-day rather than two sessions: withdraw by the end of the first morning for a full refund.
Pathways and multi-course registrations
Where you have paid for a pathway or a bundle of courses, the schedule above applies to each component from its own start date: components that have not started are fully refundable, and the component currently running is treated under the rules above.
If we cancel or reschedule
If Deesha cancels a batch, or reschedules it to dates you cannot attend, you choose between a seat in the next equivalent batch or a full refund, regardless of when the change happens.
Instalments
If you withdraw with a refund due while paying by instalments, we refund the amount you have actually paid, less any non-refundable portion under the schedule above. Instalments due after a valid withdrawal are not collected.
How refunds are processed
Refunds go back to the original payment method through our payment partner. We initiate the refund within seven working days of approving it; your bank or card issuer may take a further five to ten working days to show the credit. Where a payment gateway levies non-recoverable charges, the refund is made net of those charges.
How to request a refund
Message us on WhatsApp or email contact@deeshatechacademy.com from the contact details you registered with, stating your name, programme, and batch. We confirm every refund decision in writing.
