This policy explains what personal data Deesha Tech Academy ("Deesha", "we", "us") collects when you use this website or register for a programme, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you hold under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").
What we collect
- Identity and contact details — your name, phone number, email address, and city, when you enquire, register, or message us.
- Learning background — education, professional experience, and goals, where a programme or enquiry form asks for them, so we can advise you honestly and place you in the right batch.
- Registration and payment records — which programme and batch you registered for, the fee paid, and the payment status. We do not collect or store card, UPI, or banking credentials; payments are handled by our payment partner on their own secure systems.
- Communications — messages you exchange with us over WhatsApp, email, or phone, so we can respond and keep a record of what was agreed.
- Technical data — standard website logs and, where enabled, analytics and advertising measurement data collected through cookies and similar technologies.
Why we collect it
We use personal data to respond to enquiries; process registrations and payments; deliver programmes, including sending joining details, schedules, reminders, and certificates; provide support; meet legal and accounting obligations; understand how the website is used so we can improve it; and, with your consent, tell you about programmes we believe are relevant to you. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time; service messages about a batch you are enrolled in will continue for as long as you are enrolled.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the service providers needed to run Deesha, and never sell it:
- Payment partners (such as Razorpay) to process fees and refunds.
- Meta Platforms for WhatsApp messaging, and for measuring the effectiveness of our advertising where you arrived via one of our advertisements.
- Google for website analytics and advertising measurement, where enabled.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that run this website and our internal systems.
Each of these providers processes data under its own published privacy policy. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and, where enabled, for analytics and advertising measurement (such as Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel). You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking non-essential cookies does not stop the website working.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to follow up and no longer. Registration, payment, and certificate records are kept for as long as the law requires financial and business records to be retained. Data used only for marketing is deleted when you withdraw consent.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may ask us to tell you what personal data of yours we hold; correct or update it; erase it where we are not legally required to retain it; and you may withdraw a consent you gave earlier, or nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to the contact below and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Learners under 18 are registered by a parent or guardian, who provides the consent required for us to process the learner's data for programme delivery. We do not knowingly use children's data for advertising.
Security
Personal data is held on access-controlled systems, and payment credentials never touch our infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect and who can see it.
Changes to this policy
The date at the top of this page shows when this policy last changed. If a change meaningfully affects how your data is used, we will tell you before it takes effect.
